  • Currently developing a strategy to end homelessness in Whitehorse, a joint initiative of Whitehorse, the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Yukon Government;
  • Developed a strategic plan, business plan and stewardship process for Kwanlin Dün’s Chief and Council;
  • Developed a strategic plan and business plan for Kwanlin Dün’s Community Services Department, Department of Economic Development and the Lands and Resources Department;
  • Developed a strategic plan for the Chu Níikwän Development Corporation;

  • Currently evaluating and re-designing the Carcross/Tagish First Nation’s Temporary Financial Assistance program;
  • Developed an impact-based performance management framework and evaluation plan for the Northern Institute of Social Justice (Yukon College);
  • Developed an impact-based performance management framework and evaluation plan for the Skookum Jim Friendship Centre;
  • Evaluated the effectiveness of Kwanlin Dün’s Community Service and Social Assistance Departments;
  • Evaluated the effectiveness of the Yukon Workers’ Advocate Office;
  • Developed and conducted an evaluation course for the Arctic Institute of Community-Based Research;
  • Evaluated the organizational and governance structure of Kwanlin Dün’s Executive Council Office;
  • Evaluated the effectiveness of the Department of Indigenous and Northern Affairs’ transfer payment process; and
  • Currently developing an evaluation course for Yukon College.

Board | Council | Executive Governance

  • Developed a Board governance framework and associated directives for the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre Society
  • Developed a Board structure and governance directives/policies for the Kwanlin Dün First Nationmanu_3
  • Developed a performance measurement framework for several not-for-profits, including the United Way Yukon, Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the Northern Safety Network
  • Developed a performance measurement framework and business plan for the Yukon Department of Justice
  • Conducted a review and prepared a report of recommendations regarding the restructure of Kwanlin Dün First Nation’s Executive Council Office
  • Researched and developed a governance framework, with policies, for the Youth Council of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation

Program & Policy Development

  • Led the design and development of a new, leading-edge approach for Kwanlin Dün’s Community Wellness/Social Assistance program. Similar work ongoing with the Carcross/Tagish First Nation;
  • Researched and developed Kwanlin Dün’s unique Community Emergency and Crisis Response Plan, along with implementation materials;
  • Developing a suite of policies to implement Kwanlin Dün’s new Lands and Resources Act;
  • Developing Temporary Financial Assistance reforms for the Carcross/Tagish First Nation
  • Developed a suite of human resource-related policies for the Kwanlin Dün First Nation, including a Code of Conduct and Lateral Violence policy;
  • Led the development of a Department of Statistics and statistical capacity (data collection, management and stewardship use) for the Kwanlin Dün First Nation;
  • Conducted focus groups for Public Health Ontario regarding alcohol consumption in the North; and
  • Developed and implemented Kwanlin Dün’s performance appraisal system.
  • Currently developing a feasibility study and business plan for a new industry being developed for the Yukon.
